Mango custard

  • 4 Mangoes.
  • 1L Fat free milk or you can use rice or soya milk
  • 3 Tablespoons honey
  • 30g Cornstarch
  • ½ cup Roasted flaked almonds
Instructions
  1. Peel and chop 3 mangoes. Gather the juice and pulp while chopping the mangoes.
  2. Add the ginger and sugar.
  3. Heat the milk. Mix the cornstarch with cold milk (100ml) and add to hot milk and stir until thick.
  4. Caramelize the mold bottom with honey or brown sugar.
  5. Add the mangoes to the hot milk and pour into the mold.
  6. Cool overnight. Turn out at the time of serving and decorate with fresh mango slices dipped in honey and roasted almond flakes.
